Kay Pranis is an international leader in restorative justice, specializing in peacemaking Circles. She served as the Restorative Justice Planner for the Minnesota Department of Corrections from 1994-2003 and worked six years before that as director of research services at the Citizen’s Council on Crime and Justice. She has written and presented papers on peacemaking Circles and restorative justice in the United States, Canada, Australia, Brazil, and Japan. Kay has conducted Circle trainings in a diverse range of communities- from schools to prisons to workplaces to churches, from rural farm towns in Minnesota to Chicago’s South Side. Kay has written a number of articles and books on restorative justice and peacemaking Circles.

Tahnahga Myers has spent much of her life sharing teachings from her Mohawk and Ojibwa elders that explore healing paradigms for the earth community, including models for addressing emotional and spiritual challenges across the life cycle. Professionally, she has worked as a teacher/trainer and consultant in the fields of mental health and social justice initiatives including co-facilitating the Circle Process for conflict resolution at Conrad Grebel University in Canada. As well as being a gifted storyteller and writer, Tahnahga is a leader in creating multi-cultural and business models including the Tree of Peace, Dream of Wild Health Native Women’s Garde
