Join us for an evening of music and local fare under the stars at Vanderbilt's Dyer Observatory.We support a healthy local food system for Middle Tennessee by hosting events that educate and connect.
Event Details
Support the 12th annual Tennessee Local Food Summit by enjoying a night of bluegrass music and local food and beverages at Vanderbilt's Dyer Observatory on Saturday, August 27th from 5:30-9:30pm. Local food prepared by the fabulous Charlotte Miller of Mama Blanche using ingredients sourced from Middle Tennessee farmers.
Music by the talented Brittany Haas, Kristin Andreassen, and Emily Mann. Once the stars come out, guests will have the opportunity to view planets and the galaxy like you have never seen before using Dyer's impressive, historic telescopes.
Individual tickets and whole tables (8 tickets) are available for purchase. All tickets purchased together will be seated together. If you would like to request to be seated next to someone in particular, there is a place to enter this information on the check out form.
All funds raised will go directly towards the Tennessee Local Food Summit, a conference that provides education and opportunity for collaboration for small farmers and stakeholders of our community food system. Revenue from this fundraiser will help cover the costs of keynote speaker honorariums and travel expenses, farm fresh meals for all attendees, event insurance, scholarships for small farmers, marketing costs, miscellaneous supplies and fees, and any other expenses we incur.
