Peter's Sushi & Thai

Husband and wife duo Peter and Day Jarupat opened Peter’s Sushi & Thai in 2005 out of a passion for amazing food and service. After working and training for 6 years at famed sushi restaurant Kuni’s Japanese Restaurant in Chicago, Peter relocated his family to Nashville and began working as a sushi chef at Miyako in Brentwood, where he remained for 10 years. After suffering from a brain aneurysm, Peter and his wife, Day, were inspired to fulfill their life-long dream of opening their own restaurant, which blended Peter’s expertise as a sushi chef and Day’s traditional Thai cooking skills.

Here at Peter’s Sushi & Thai, we believe in serving handcrafted food of the highest quality at the very best value. We use the freshest imported fish to create our celebrated selection of both classic and contemporary sushi dishes. Our kitchen offerings include a blend of traditional Japanese fare, as well as meticulously crafted Thai cuisine. As a family owned and operated business, we take great pride in providing our customers with an outstanding dining experience, but take even greater pride in serving our local Brentwood and Nashville community.
