Annual Vegan Thanksgiving Feast

It's an ideal way to give thanks for the abundance of the season.

And remember, it's not Thanksgiving without a green bean casserole so I'll bring one this year along with a Tofurky roast (as well as my famous gluten-free portabello mushroom bake).

As usual, it is strongly recommended that you be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 when attending this event for the protection of yourself and others.

Chew the right thing!

Share delicious meals, swap recipes and enjoy compassionate conversations with other vegans living near you.

We also welcome omnivores who'd like to learn more about becoming vegan.

Switching to a plant-based diet is the single most important move you can make for your health, for the environment, and for the animals - 57 Billion per year.

Viva Nashvegans!

Everyone's invited, vegan or not, but all dishes must be vegan: no dairy, egg, meat, seafood, or insect products.

If you know what you'll be bringing, please let us know. Also, bring a serving utensil for your dish.

Please note that the church has a no-alcohol policy, so please do not bring any alcoholic beverages as your contribution for this event.

Nonalcoholic beverages such as vegan cider, juice, or (vegan) milks are welcome and appreciated. :)

This year we'll once again be at the Fellowship Hall of Eastwood Christian Church at 1601 Eastland Avenue in East Nashville. Of course this is still a secular, non-religiously affiliated Nashvegans event and everyone is invited, but this was the largest space that was available for us to use on this date since the location we usually use didn't work out this year.

The potluck will be held in the Fellowship Hall of the Education Center, which is attached to the church. Enter through the red double-doors (near 16th Street and playground); the Fellowship Hall is on the second floor.

Masks are required in the church outside the Fellowship Hall where we'll be eating.

The church has graciously offered to give us this space without asking for payment, but they would appreciate any donations you would like to contribute as a thank you for letting us use this space, so if you feel comfortable donating please do so.

Thank
