Sip & Learn how to loom knit!
Join us at City Winery in Nashville, TN to sip and learn how to knit on a round loom by creating slipper socks. Beginner level. No experience needed.
Class fee includes:
24 peg round loom
Loom hook
2 skeins of wool blend yarn
Yarn needle
Scissors
Instruction
We will discuss the basics of yarn, skill levels, abbreviations for basic stitches and how to hold and tension the yarn and the loom. We will get a good start on creating slipper socks! There will be a follow-up online video call approximately 2 weeks later to go over finishing techniques since we may not get that far in this event and never ending phone support. :)
City Winery has free private parking in their own lot. As of now, we will be in the Cellar Room which is amazing! You will get a drink ticket upon arrival for a beverage of your choice. The dining room opens at 4:00pm if you want to eat before the event.
