Trio T.B.E. is the amalgam of three established Nashville jazz musicians, Chris Broomhead, Matt Endahl and Scott Trayer, presenting their take on the classic piano trio format. All three musicians bring their own unique musical experiences to bear in a performance that features tunes from the great American songbook, lesser-known standards, as well as originals.

A native of Melbourne and currently residing in Nashville, Tennessee, Chris is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts and Monash University and works in a variety of settings and projects as a drummer, composer, producer, leader and teacher.

His Australian piano trio project Refraction, released their debut album As We Were in March 2015 and it was nominated for Best Jazz Album in The Age Music Victoria Awards of that year.

Their follow-up recordings include Inerrant Space (2016), Reimagined (2017) as well as The Outsider and the mini-EP Three Improvisations (both 2019).

Matt Endahl is a pianist, composer and educator, currently based in Nashville TN. Since moving here in 2013 he has performed in groups led by Jeff Coffin, Chester Thompson, Dara Tucker, Rahsaan Barber, Duffy Jackson, Christina Watson, Marcus Finnie, and many others. He’s shared the stage with legendary figures like Jimmy Heath, Henry Grimes, David Liebman, Jane Ira Bloom, Arthur Blythe, Jeff "Tain" Watts, Marcus Belgrave, Roger Humphries, Dave Douglas, Nicolas Bearde, and Karrin Allyson.

A graduate from University of North Texas and Manhattan School of Music, Scott Trayer has taught both jazz and bass studies at the University of Michigan and North Texas, and is an established player in the country music world, touring with legends Collin Raye, Jim Lauderdale and Billy Ray Cyrus.

This show is 21 and over only. All sales are final and we unfortunately cannot offer any refunds. Additional tickets may be available at the door on the day of the show even if it is sold out online.

Please try to arrive 15 minutes prior to the show start time. If you do not arrive within 45 minutes after the show start time on your ticket your seat may be resold to other patrons at the door.

If you arrive after 45 minutes from the start time of the show and your ticket has been resold, although we cannot guarantee it, we will try our best to make space for you to attend the show.
