What to expect:
This will be an outdoor event at the new event space behind NBC. It's a beautiful venue surrounded by barrels of whiskey. We highly recommend you check the weather before coming and please Uber/Lyft. Parking is available in the back.
Releasing a 8yr bourbon selected by NBSC admins ($129 + tax)
Pours by the ounce of the NBSC 8yr
Two specialty cocktails
Live music (Ryan Knaack)
Food truck (Keys Barbecue)
Coffee vendor (Brooks Lokey)
Corn hole
**All proceeds from tickets & portion of bottle sales will be going directly to Friend's Life
About Friend's Life:
Friends Life Community, founded in 2008 by a community advocate and four families with adult children with developmental disabilities, began as an afternoon program in the basement of Hillsboro Presbyterian Church. As Friends Life grew, these founding families continued to be a strong foundation for the organization. In its first three years, the day program expanded from the four founding members to 40 participants. In February 2011, Friends Life Community was licensed as a day habilitation program and moved into its new home at 4414 Granny White Pike, where it resides today.
